We Can’t Wait For October

We are so excited to reopen our doors to the many children waiting to come and stay at George Mark Children’s House. Many people want to know what we have been doing since our doors closed to inpatient services last March. Our dedicated volunteers have been working in many roles from answering the phones to pulling weeds. Our former staff members have been out fundraising and educating the community about the need for pediatric palliative care. Our Board and Executive Director have been working with insurance companies and refining our model of care so we can reopen and continue to provide the care our children deserve and need. Our medical team has volunteered to continue with our Fellow and Medical Resident training.
We wish to thank the many members of the George Mark family who have continued to believe in us and support us so that our doors can reopen. We will continue to fill you in on our progress as the countdown to October 4th begins!
